Preparing for Transfer Student Session

Tonight I am reviewing different aspects of Google docs, iGoogle, Google Scholar and Blogger to use in an instruction series which begins this Thursday. I found a really cute youtube video: Google Docs in Plain English: http://www.youtube.com/watchv=eRqUE6IHTEA&NR=1&feature=fvwp I thought it did a super job of explaining the advantages of Google docs. The one frustration I have with Google Docs is the formatting is a little off, but other than that, it is a great resource.

Wish me luck...I'll be teaching wikis, blogs, and demonstrating MyPodcast as well. When I started this blog I didn't know how to do any of that stuff. Yay me.

Almost a Year

It has been almost a year since my last post. In that time I have been able to complete most of my courses and am scheduled to graduate in December. Currently I am taking an interesting class called Information Services to Diverse Client groups. YouTube is down so I am searching blogs to find a post about ethnicities.

Over the summer I took Business Reference with Jeopardy champ, Jeanie Welch, and I took Web Design and Usability as well. Dreamweaver requires a ton of patience.

Over and out.
